Is This the Most Beautiful Kitchen Ever?

First let me say that beauty is in the eye of the beholder. We all have our unique tastes which is why there’s a wide variety of clothing styles, furniture designs, and so on. I find today’s kitchen to be the most beautiful kitchen ever and understand if some of you disagree. But for me, this kitchen combines the best of functionality with a charming European country style.

The colors in the most beautiful kitchen are so pleasing. Taupe cabinetry, white tile, wood floors, a touch of greenery, and beautiful copper pieces create a warm and pretty palette.

Part of the reason I find this to be the most beautiful kitchen ever is the nostalgic feeling it stirs in me. My grandmother owned beautiful copper pieces similar to the pots and pans and cake molds.

I remember how my Mimi stood over the kitchen sink scouring the copper pots until they sparkled like brand new. I wish I had grabbed those pieces when they had their estate sale, but I was away at college.

This most beautiful kitchen enjoys custom pantries and a unique refrigerator. You might not like that the doors have glass, but I’m thinking the glass fronts would provide motivation to keep the pantry and refrigerator clean.

The drawers in the kitchen island provide more than ample storage for keeping cooking and baking supplies organized. I love the diagonal compartments in this drawer.

And look at this custom drawer for slicing bread! I’ve never seen this before – have you?

The wood floor in the kitchen exhibits a unique pattern – a fresh break from traditional flooring installation.

Adjacent to the kitchen is an equally charming dining nook with pretty shelves, a wine rack, copper lights, and striped wallpaper. Sunlight is plentiful through the large windows.

An impressive pendant light hangs above a farm style table with galvanized metal table top. Built-in cabinetry mimics the cupboards in the kitchen.

You may or may not agree that this is the most beautiful kitchen, but I suspect most of you will find it quite charming and special.

  1. That is a really unique and pretty kitchen. It really takes the modern elements and gives them warmth, while being clean, light and airy all at the same time. And the functionality has been very well thought out.

  2. I like it, just don’t love it:) Not a fan of the taupe cabinetry but like you said, we all have our own tastes. LOVE the copper. I have been collecting some pieces for a few years now. Used to have a large collection and gave a lot of it to GW and could kick myself!

  3. Wasn’t a fan of the color of the cabinets but I did like all the different organization drawers and the spice rack area that was really pretty. Overall I liked the kitchen layout too. I’ve never been a fan of copper either but I have to admit it looked really pretty here and did add that warmth as you said. I might have to add a few copper pieces to my kitchen 🙂

  4. It is a really nice kitchen, the cabinets and cozy eating area and i love the copper pieces. I wish my kitchen were bigger and dreamy.

  5. A lovely layout, but there are too many open shelves where dust can collect and need constant dusting/wiping.

  6. YUCK. Thank is not a good brown color on the cabinets. I hope the new warmer color phase does not include that color. I hated the Tuscan Brown look and I hope it never returns.
