Classic and Timeless Home Decor to Love Now
When I started my blog 13 years ago (yes, it’s been that long!), white interiors were all the rage. And while I still enjoy white and creamy tones, colors and textures are taking over the interior decorating world. Today I’m sharing classic examples of timeless home decor I’ll always love, regardless of how I decorate…
Smooth Transitioning from Christmas to Winter Decor: Style Showcase
Happy Tuesday, friends! It’s our last Style Showcase before Christmas and you’re probably busy making final preparations if you’re hosting or still have shopping to do. Hello and Welcome!
My name is Jennifer and I started my blog in 2011 as a way to motivate myself by chronicling improvements to my circa 1875 house. I figured if I was writing about what I was doing, I’d be more likely to tackle and actually finish home improvement projects.
I remarried on June 30, 2011 and my husband and I talked about buying a new home together. But we both love it here in our little town and decided to stay put. The town has more than tripled in size since living here, but I still consider it to be small compared to the other Chicago ‘burbs.
