Dreamy Cottagecore Bedrooms: How to Get the Look
Cottagecore bedrooms are the epitome of cozy, nostalgic living, blending rustic charm with a touch of whimsical elegance. Inspired by the simplicity of countryside life, these dreamy spaces evoke a sense of warmth and tranquility, featuring soft linens, floral patterns, vintage furniture, and natural elements. Whether you’re drawn to the romance of lace curtains, the charm of weathered wood, or the serenity of pastel hues, a cottagecore bedroom is the perfect retreat for escaping the hustle and bustle of modern life. Transform your space into a haven of comfort and storybook allure with these enchanting ideas.
I’ve had spring on the brain lately and I think cottagecore decorating is the perfect style for days when flowers are blooming and birds are singing. We’ve got two more months of winter but I’m dreaming of future warmer weather.
How sweet is this creamy white and yellow bedroom? Fluffy linens on a vintage wood and metal bed create the perfect space for sweet dreams. I absolutely adore the elegant simplicity of this space. Cottagecore embraces simple, rural lifestyle that incorporates nature.
Bring on the florals! Cottagecore bedrooms are the perfect opportunity for adding the soft colors of flowery patterns. The arched window and ceiling make this room extra special.
Pale wall colors and textured coverlets are great choices for designing a cottage style bedroom.
A vintage metal bed is an ideal choice for cottagecore bedrooms. Pile on the pillows and light blankets and quilts for a homespun vibe.
Soft pastels like mint green and pink bring a sweet, spring-like vibe to the space. This charming, feminine bedroom also exudes a touch of “grandma chic” style. I’m in love with the fringed pink quilt on the bed.
Soft neutrals set the tone for a serene, tranquil bedroom that’s perfect for spring. Adding flowering branches from the garden provides the finishing touch of natural elegance.
Cottagecore bedrooms embrace charm with soft pastel tones, floral bedding, and vintage-inspired accents. Add fresh flowers on the windowsill and framed artwork to add a touch of natural beauty and nostalgic elegance.
A whimsical floral wallpaper set the stage for a guest room with a bamboo daybed. You can never have enough pillows when creating a comfy sleeping space. The arched window is the crowning touch.
If pink isn’t your thing, consider using blush and cream to soften your bedroom for the spring season.
Use natural wood furniture in cottagecore bedrooms. Wood floors are an added bonus if you have them in your home. But if you have carpeting, consider layering a printed thin rug on top.
Floral curtains are an easy way to add cottage vibe to your interior spaces. In warmer weather, you don’t need heavy drapes. Lighter curtains in cotton or muslin fabrics tend to be less expensive so they’re easy on the budget while adding big impact.
Have you noticed there’s a bouquet of flowers in most of these rooms? We typically relegate floral arrangements to the dining or living rooms, but you should use them in the bedroom, too. I currently have potted hyacinths in my room. I love smelling them as I fall asleep and first thing when I wake up.
This dreamy bedroom enjoys two sets of flower arrangements!
After being inspired by these beautiful cottagecore bedrooms, I might have to add some floral curtains or new bedding to my own room. Are you a fan of this style?

After seeing these beautiful bedrooms, I realize I am a true cottagecore fan. So many wonderful ideas from these photos. Love the soft pastels that are used, the soft patterns, colors that blend well. Not hard, in your face, bold colors, nor white and gray. Just soft and soothing. And the furniture had such nice character. All very nice.
Hi Vicky! I share your sentiments. Cottagecore reminds me of the book “Romantic Prairie Style” by Fifi O’Neill. It’s one of my favorite decorating books of all time. It’s such an easy style.
