Relaxed and Classic Home Tour
Today I had planned on sharing a collection of dining rooms with you, but then I came across a beautiful, classic home tour and immediately switched gears. I hope you enjoy this gorgeous home with its relaxed style and time-honored architecture. I couldn’t resist sharing it with you!
Eclectic Family Room by New York Photographers Rikki Snyder
A collection of creamy and white vintage pottery lines bookcases that hug a family room window. Silver trophies and painted architectural pieces complete the look, while a large garden urn takes center stage on a black painted table.

Hardwood floors gleam against slip-covered furniture in the living room. French doors flank the fireplace and ample windows let in plenty of gorgeous natural light. I love the creamy paint color on the walls!

Another angle of the living room reveals the details of the windows. Stripes and animal print pillows add neutral color to the space, echoing the colors of the coffee table.

Vintage suitcases create an architectural tower on an unused wall near the doorway. Note the classic glass doorknobs on the adjacent French door!

The homeowner shares my love of vintage mirrors and I enjoy seeing a wall of them in someone else’s home. More vintage suitcases take up residence under a farmhouse table.
Shabby Chic Style
A collection of still life floral paintings creates a colorful gallery wall in another section of the living room.

When I was searching for dining rooms for today’s post, this is the one I found that led me to doing a whole post on this classic home tour. A rustic farmhouse table and bench, paired with industrial metal chairs creates a warm, cozy, and comfortable dining space. Bullseye square trim lines up atop the spacious window.

Here’s another view of the dining room with its over-sized drum shade pendant lights.
Farmhouse Kitchen by New York Photographers Rikki Snyder
Oh, how I love this farmhouse kitchen! Industrial bar stools cozy up to the painted kitchen island with its galvanized metal top. Painted cabinets and a bead board ceiling lend farmhouse charm while the tile floor creates an earthy foundation. I think I’m growing more and more attracted to the mix of industrial chic with farmhouse style.

A second staircase in the home can be found at the other end of the kitchen. You’ll find more of the homeowner’s creamy and white pottery here in the kitchen cupboards.

Vintage mirrors live happily with a retro bus bench in the master bedroom. Creamy walls create a pretty backdrop for the gray bedding and curtains. A nubby rug underneath provides texture.
Eclectic Laundry Room by New York Photographers Rikki Snyder
Round mirrors line up like polka dots in a corner of the laundry room. Have you noticed the use of striped rugs in neutral colors throughout the home?
Farmhouse Hall by New York Photographers Rikki Snyder
In the upstairs hallway, you’ll find another stack of vintage suitcases tucked into a corner beside a vintage painted dresser. An over-sized cloche protects giant balls of yarn.

When it comes to decorating, what’s your favorite style?
I think I am ready to redecorate in the industrial chic farmhouse look. Lots of good ideas.
What a treat for the eyes. Thank you.
Great tour, Jennifer! I love the way the bull’s eye trim has been displayed above the window…neat way to put a collection on display. Also really enjoy the stacked vintage suitcases! I used to have some wonderful vintage suitcases of my grandfather’s but years ago decided to sell them in a tag sale, which I’m now regretting. Oh well…I’ll just have to be on the lookout for more! Thanks for sharing!
