She Holds Dearly: Charming Home Tour
Tomorrow is the first day of spring and I can’t wait! Our daffodils are poking up, I’ve seen a couple crocus, and tiny buds are appearing on our front bushes. But enough of the weather. Today we’re touring Sarah’s home from She Holds Dearly. I think you’ll enjoy her farmhouse style.
Welcome to Sarah’s fireside room! You can see the cozy stove in the corner against a white-washed brick wall. White, slip-covered furniture and white walls keep the room light and bright.
Sarah’s kitchen is also light and airy with white-painted cabinets and a warm, wood floor. I love the pendant light above her sink. Sarah has completed a lot of DIY projects throughout her home and it shows.
An eat-in breakfast bar provides convenient seating. A white cabinet with vintage treasures on top creates farmhouse appeal.
In the downstairs bathroom, a vintage dresser serves duty as a beautiful vanity. A mix of white and warm woods is always so appealing. Wooden pieces and floors add cozy appeal to a white room.
Sarah’s children enjoy this adorable school room! A fun pendant banner adds a touch of whimsy while mismatched painted chairs add interest. What child wouldn’t love spending time in this room?
Leading upstairs is a classic stairway with painted risers. A shelf with hooks provides a convenient place for hanging coats and purses. Note the little wood window toward the bottom of the stairway.
At the top of the stairs is an amazing full-length mirror that reflects the charming pendant light. The mirror also helps reflect daylight into the rest of the hallway.
In the master bedroom, a gorgeous bed takes center stage. Soft bedding makes you want to crawl right in for a cozy nap.
The bathroom oozes vintage charm with its claw foot tub, unique shower fixture, and simple chandelier. Perfection!
Once again, Sarah used a vintage dresser for a vanity in this space. I love all the little details in her home like the vintage doorknob.
Another pendant banner graces the large window in the boy’s bedroom. A cute dog quilt adds a bit of color to the space.
