Stunning Custom Blue Kitchen: Why It’s This Home’s Centerpiece

In past posts I’ve talked about the color green trending in kitchens across America. But green isn’t the only hue favored by culinary hobbyists and professionals. Today’s custom blue kitchen by Coffee Talk Kitchens proves that blue is equally beautiful. This New Jersey home is a result of the homeowner’s tearing down the existing home on the property and rebuilding from the ground up. The kitchen is not only the heart of the home, it’s the centerpiece, as well.

Just beyond the wooden French doors you get a glimpse into this stunning kitchen that spared no detail in its design and creation.

The homeowner’s main request was to create a kitchen that’s both unique and functional, and the result includes a beautiful blue color on the cabinets that separate the rich wood floors from the custom gray and white tile on the walls. To finish it all off, a custom hood is the crowning touch.

The kitchen is designed with a 5-zone design that provides the ultimate traffic flow and most efficient work spaces. The numerous drawers provide storage for pots and pans, along with other cooking and baking tools. Brushed nickel was chosen for hardware and emphasizes the cool vibe of the blue cabinetry.

Custom molding graces the top of the cabinets and just above that is the gorgeous coffered ceiling. The sliding French door leads to a cozy pantry that offers even more storage opportunity.

Potatoes and squash share space in the butler’s pantry with an iPad on the counter and power-charging stations inside the drawers. This area also provides an area for recyclables.

From this angle of the blue custom kitchen, you can see the woven rattan chairs gathered around the breakfast table. Sliding glass doors offer easy access to the deck for alfresco dining.

Plenty of windows are included in the design of the room to provide views of the outdoors while allowing natural light to flow into the space.

  1. Absolutely gorgeous! I love this cabinetry. I am wondering though, no dishwasher or is it hidden with cabinetry. What a beautiful space.

  2. This is lovely, gorgeous. But no way on earth I, or anyone I know, could afford to do all this, or a home like this. Millions of us little people, on a budget of maybe even a $100, total, max, need ideas too.
