Summer Luncheon Table Setting
My family is taking a vacation to Door County, Wisconsin this coming August. We’re all staying in a large modern farmhouse and I thought it would be fun to get the girls together for a summer luncheon and start planning our trip.
My table setting is part of today’s Styled + Set Summer Home Style tour. Thanks to Lory at Designthusiasm for putting together today and tomorrow’s event! And if you’re coming here from Cedar Hill Farmhouse – welcome!
My motto this summer is to keep things simple and easy because we’re doing a lot of work outside and a girl can only do so much. So for the summer luncheon I kept the centerpiece and place settings un-fussy.
The centerpiece consists of five candlesticks and a stretch of faux green garland.
Unmatched white plates sit on woven chargers. Light pink napkins and a pretty pink flower add a bit of soft summer color.
I’ve only added one new thing to my dining room, and that’s the small landscape painting above the board and batten trim.
And you might have noticed that I’ve painted our interior doors a rich shade of black called Wrought Iron by Benjamin Moore.
I always enjoy spending time with my girls – my two daughters and daughter-in-law. I can’t wait for our trip to Door County. Zip-lining is officially on our vacation bucket list! Stay tuned for how that goes.
Check out the other table setting and entertaining ideas below – and don’t forget to visit Tuesday’s bloggers too! Next up on today’s tour is Jamie from So Much Better with Age.
