This is Happiness ~ Charming Home Tour

Several weeks ago I contacted the owner of this week’s charming home tour. Becky blogs at This Is Happiness and she has a truly beautiful home … which she and her husband recently sold!  As you tour her bright and cheery home, you’ll see why it sold. As you wander from room to room, her lovely home makes you smile.

Traditional Style EntrywayStep inside the front door of Becky’s home and you’re greeted by a stylish and welcoming entryway. I love the family photo she tucked above the upholstered bench.

Painted Fireplace in Living RoomA white stone fireplace creates an appealing focal point in the living room, where soft colors create a soothing and serene place to read and relax.

Farmhouse Table in the Dining RoomA handmade farmhouse style table graces the dining room. I like how Becky paired the rustic dining table with elegantly upholstered chairs. A mix of styles can be so appealing!

Bright and Cheery Traditional KitchenI’m in love with Becky’s kitchen! I love the white cabinets and the sunny yellow accents.

Bright and Cheery Traditional KitchenThe spacious kitchen island doubles as a breakfast bar with cross back stools.

Office in Neutral TonesBecky employs a pretty white table as the desk in her office. Soft colors allow geometric patterns to pop, like the chevron rug underfoot and small basket on the bookshelf.

Master BedroomPlantation shuttered windows provide a beautiful backdrop to Becky’s bed in the master bedroom. Luxurious white linens add a fresh touch and make you want to crawl right in, which is exactly how a well-made bed should make you feel!

Girls Yellow BedroomHer daughter’s room is quaintly sophisticated. Yellow linens pair with soft touches of pink, perfect for a young girl. I’ve always loved pink and yellow together.

Boy's BedroomBecky’s son’s room uses fun graphics with soft colors. I’m lovin’ the tiger pillow and the touches of red.

Patio Seating AreaOutside, a cozy patio invites you to enjoy a little fresh air!  The new homeowners are lucky to enjoy Becky’s house. Be sure to visit her at This is Happiness to follow her journey to her next home!
