Two Amazing Waterfront Homes and More: Friday Finds
Spring is dragging its heels a little here in the Chicagoland area. We’re getting plenty of rain which is good for the garden, but I’m ready for a little more warmth and sunshine. My fear is that it will jump from 60-degree days to 80-degree days. A range of temperature in the seventies is my comfort zone. At least the daffodils, tulips, and Virginia bluebells are blooming their little hearts out. It’s putting me in the mood for spring decorating.

This time of year gives me cottage style vibes when it comes to sprucing up the home. So you’re likely to see lighter colors and more coastal decor in upcoming blog posts. I find cottagecore style to be both uplifting and cozy, and perfect for spring and summer. You’ll see some of that here in today’s Friday Finds.

Green is a popular color in today’s decorating world and it’s easy to see why. Even Miss Mustard Seed used it to freshen up her living room.
Another trend dominating interior design is the grandmillennial look. Explore this collection of kitchens that show how to incorporate the style.
Feeling crafty? Here’s a simple project to create herb signs using stencils for your kitchen or wherever you want to hang them. Quick and easy, which is my kind of project!
Looking for a fresh and soft floral quilt and shams for your bedroom this spring and summer? I love this pretty bed set from Nordstrom Rack that’s currently on sale – and this slightly more modern design from LL Bean..
