Win a Coastal Watercolor Workbook and Paintbrush Set!
If you’ve ever wanted to learn how to paint with watercolors, here’s your chance to dive in! I’m thrilled to be giving away a copy of the new Coastal Watercolor Workbook, beautifully created by my friend Danielle of Finding Silver Pennies. With Christmas approaching, I thought this would be a fun giveaway and Danielle agreed. You can keep the watercolor workbook for yourself, or give it as a gift.

Many of you already know Danielle as a watercolor artist and fellow blogger who lives in the charming seaside town of Scituate, Massachusetts. Her surroundings serve as the heart of her art and the inspiration for her coastal style decorating. Her home is a classic example of coastal New England living.

It’s easy to see that ocean waves, weathered driftwood, and the soft seaside light of coastal New England inspire every brushstroke in her work. Her Coastal Watercolor Workbook captures thar serene coastal charm through guided tutorials and designs that celebrate life by the sea.

Inside the spiral-bound book, you’ll find step-by-step lessons and easy-to-follow techniques for painting ocean-inspired subjects like seashells, starfish, buoys, hydrangeas, and sailboats. Danielle includes a beautifully illustrated color wheel, guidance on brushstrokes and blending, and plenty of space to practice directly in the book. Each project is designed to help you build confidence while creating artwork reminiscent of breezy summer days and salt-kissed shores.

Along with the workbook, the winner will also receive a set of watercolor paintbrushes to help you start your own creative journey at home. If you don’t think you have an artistic bone in your body – give her book a try! You might just find you’re more talented than you thought, and her instructions make it easy.

Oh I would love this! I’ve always wanted to learn how to do watercolor painting. I’ve worked with acrylic paints but not too much with watercolor. Just crayola paints with my kids! This looks like the perfect way to start a new hobby!

What a wonderful thing to do as it gets colder. The book looks fun and you would be able to learn how to do your own paintings. Thank you Jennifer.
Do I even dare to try to be able to paint like Danielle? What a blessing that would be! My daughter paints and would certainly wrestle me for the book and brushes. I look forward to your blog every day. Thank you for the constant inspiration!

Thanks for the opportunity.
I would love the chance to win this beautiful set! My granddaughters and I love to spend weekend mornings doing all sorts of crafts and fun things together. This would add a little more “grown up” element to our fun.
Thank you for the opportunity!
I would love to win the watercolor workbook for my sister for Christmas! She has expressed a desire to learn to paint in watercolor for years but doesn’t know how to get started. We often joke that I got the painting gene, she got the sewing gene; she became an excellent seamstress while I became a painter. She has a great eye for mixing colors and patterns from her experience working with fabric, which would translate well to painting. She also has a love for elements found in nature. I would love to see her accomplish that long-held desire to paint and this workbook would be the perfect gift for her to begin learning. Thank you for the opportunity to win this book!
I absolutely love her art and this book looks like a fun way to get started with watercolor!
Danielle’s work is such an inspiration and love her attention to detail! I am self taught at Watercolor and would love the opportunity to be guided step by step with her beautiful illustrations! My favorite part about Watercolor painting is creating a piece and to give it to others to enjoy. 💜
This is an awesome giveaway. On my bucket list is giving myself the opportunity to be more creative, try new things, and watercolor was on the list. Thank you. Pick me please!
What a thoughtful thing to do, Jen! This will make a wonderful gift for someone personally or, as you said, to give as a gift. Fall has finally come to Ocala FL. It is a chilling 41 degrees at 8:28 this beautiful, sunny morning. 🙂
I would love to try watercolor, I’ve been thinking for awhile now that I need a new hobby to try!
I am a self-taught artist and teach watercolor to adult students with mental health issues. I am always looking for ways to improve my work and inspire my students. Your workbook would be a lovely way to translate happy, calm and peaceful places to my classroom. Thank you.
What a sweet gift The Watercolor Workbook will be! I am STILL learning how to watercolor! There is so much to learn. And you can teach an old dog new tricks – at 76 years old I figured it was time to start learning and at 78, I’m not as good at it as I would like but it still brings me joy. I would give this gift however to my 10 year old granddaughter who is now learning herself. She has become quite the artist over the past year, and it warms my heart to know that I’ve played a part in bringing her desire to paint to the surface! Whoever wins this book will be pleased!
I’ve always wanted to experiment with watercolors, and what better way than with the beautiful colors and images of the coast!!
Hi, there! I used to do oil painting, but never liked the messy cleanup. I did create a picture with acrylics that turned out really well and I want to do more. I would love to win your prize to help me get restarted into this art form.

I’d really enjoy your blog! I’d love the chance to win the watercolor workbook!! I’ve never painted but I’d like to learn. My 80 year old aunt took up painting never having done it before. Her paintings have been sold at showings and hang in family members home.
I loved the idea of a watercolor workbook and this summer I bought one for each of my grand-daughters. We found them at a gift shop on the East coast. They enjoyed them on rainy days, times they were looking for a craft and even shared with some friends. I see there are some cute items I can use for stocking stuffers this holiday.

I would love to win this! I have always wanted to paint and I think this would be a great place for me to start with watercolors.
That looks like a fantastic guide for watercolor. My son was an art major in college, and when he moved to CT for work I inherited all of his art supplies, including an extensive set of watercolors along with brushes and supplies. I have dabbled with them, and tried to follow some tutorials on the net, but the workbook setup of this book looks like a winning idea. I love the soft look of watercolor painting and would love to learn the ins and outs of the painting tichnique.
As my son moved to CT, my daughter moved to Chicago. I love when you show the architecture of different areas near Chicago, and different neighborhoods around the Chicago area. It gives me ideas of what I would like to do or see when we go to visit her. I’m located in Central New York, Syracuse.
It’s such a great book and I could use practice doing watercolors!
Hello!!! I have followed Danielle….for quite a while…..since her furniture painting days. I love her older home. I am trying to get into watercolor. She makes it look so easy…it is not.
