I love Christmas. I love Christmas Carols, decorated trees, lights that brighten yards and homes, Christmas memories, and just the warmth and coziness of Christmas. When Kristen at Ella Claire asked me to join a round-up of Christmas printables, I couldn’t resist. I thought about what I’d create for you, and on Thursday last week I had my answer. My daughter gave birth to a bouncing baby boy on a stormy night and I knew my printable would be “For Unto Us a Child is Born.”
For me, Christmas isn’t Christmas without the birth of Christ. Every Christmas morning we read aloud the passage from the Bible about Jesus’ birth … the same one Linus recites in the Peanuts Christmas special.
My piece of bead board was already painted, so all I had to do was spread a thin coat of Mod Podge glue onto the back of the printable, and then attach it to the board. Use a credit card to carefully smooth out any bubbles. I brushed a bit of Mod Podge around the corners and sprinkled on glitter.
