Vintage Easter Printable

Little by little the days are getting longer and spring is in the air. I saw the first robins of the season, which put me in the mood for Easter. Today I’m joining fellow bloggers to bring you a bounty of free Easter printables. Thanks to Kristen at Ella Claire for hosting this fun event! I always love a pretty vintage Easter printable and am sharing six images for you to download. I made place setting decorations with them for guests to take home after Easter dinner. The project started with leftover wood rectangles from this past fall’s fence installation. Each received a coat of white-washing and gentle sanding. I had a jar of white mineral paint on hand but any latex, acrylic, or white chalk paint will do.

After the paint dried and each block is sanded, you can glue your vintage Easter printable onto the block. I used Mod Podge and purposely glued the prints a bit askew on the wood block.

I found tubes of paper confetti at the craft store and decided to embellish the wood blocks with them. You can use tiny beads too. Brush a little glue where you want the confetti to stick and sprinkle it on. Shake off any excess.

After the vintage Easter printable has dried, you can add a small stretch of twine for hanging the miniature artwork. Knot the twine at each end and hot glue the knot to the top of the wood block. Let dry and it’s ready to go!

All that’s left to do is set your table and decorate it.
