Amazing Vintage Bathrooms, Brooklyn Home Tour + More: Friday Finds

This weekend I’m starting a new decorating project. I’m painting the trim and lower half of the walls in the stairway and upstairs hall in Evergreen Fog by Sherwin Williams. I’m also looking through my wallpaper samples that I’ve chosen for the living room – and at the same time I’m considering papering the upper half of the walls in the upstairs hall. I’ll document the wallpaper process because I’m going to try peel and stick paper and some of you have asked about that. I’m hoping to get most of this done before Christmas. Ha. We’ll see if my enthusiasm to get this done prevails.

For Friday’s Finds, I found a lot of inspiration for you. There’s a range of topics and ideas so I’m sure you’ll see something you like!

  1. Jennifer-you’ll be pleasantly surprised working with the stick and peel wallpaper. It’s so easy to hang and forgiving…mine has hung in the kitchen backsplash for 2 years and still looks fabulous. Love your blog!

    1. Hi Karen, thanks for the compliment on my blog. It means a lot to me! I ordered a few samples of the peel and stick paper and they’re so easy to place, remove, and put somewhere else. Seems a lot easier than the traditional way of hanging paper. I wasn’t sure about the longevity so I’m glad you told me yours has been in place for two years and still looking good! Have a Happy Thanksgiving!

  2. All just beautiful!
Awhile back you listed a mug website and I cant find it. Could you please list it again and also highlight new Christmas mugs for the season? I am so over the huge mugs where your coffee gets cold before you can even drink it all. Thanks

  3. Those floors on that beach house were beautiful. This was a lot to look at and enjoy, thanks and If I haven’t said, Happy Thanksgiving, have a wonderful day with your family.

  4. Will you share your evergreen fog woodwork when you are done? Iโ€™ve used evergreen fog as an accent in several areas of my home; including my island and main bath vanity. Would love to see it on woodwork. Thanks.
