Just 18 days until Christmas! Are you ready? For me, it’s actually one week until the holiday when we head to Galena with the entire family to celebrate. This is our fifth year going to Galena the week before Christmas. We rent a cozy cabin-style home with a big fireplace, a huge dining room to accommodate the entire family, and enough bedrooms and baths for everyone to spread out. We always rent the same home and I hope the owner never sells it or we’ll have to find a new place. But enough of my plans, let’s get on with this week’s finds!

This weekend I’m baking some of my favorite cookies ever – peanut butter cookie cups, which everyone loves. I’ll freeze most of them to take to our family gathering in Galena later this month. If you haven’t tried them, give them a shot. They’re easy to make!
