Charming Elegant Home Tour ~ Honeycomb Creative Co.
The word “charming” means pleasing and delightful while “elegant” means tastefully fine and luxurious. Combine the two and you’ve arrived at the home of Courtney who blogs at Honeycomb Creative Co. She and hubby moved into their new home this past September and I’m simply amazed at all the gorgeousness she’s poured into her charming elegant home in such a short period of time.
Courtney is a decorator and antiques dealer who has a great eye for style and design.
She mixes a bit of cottage style with elegance throughout her home, as evidenced here in her hearth room.
You’ll see a similar color pallet throughout her home, which helps to unify the spaces of her open floor plan. Courtney has done a fabulous job of making sure the eye flows pleasingly from room to room. Ironstone platters pair with a vintage mirror in her pretty dining room.
Moving into the living room, you’ll enjoy the many textures that lend visual interest, from the wonderfully nubby rug to the weathered basket and pine cones behind the sofa. The wood dresser that supports the television adds a rich warmth to the space.
From this angle of the living room, you can see the dining room on the other side.
I love the open floor plan of Courtney’s charming elegant home!
Courtney has a true gift for creating interesting vignettes with things she loves.
And what a fabulous built-in she has for displaying her pretties!
Of course, I love her use of white throughout her home.
The charming kitchen wears the same color pallet and exudes cottage style with an open cabinet and scallop trim above the sink. Once again, texture shows up in the form of a nubby rug, potted plants, and tiled back splash.
Here’s a close-up of that adorable light fixture above the sink!
I’m lovin’ her goose neck faucet, too.
On the other side of the kitchen is a pass-through window to the hearth room.
The pass-through window provides a great spot for a quick snack … or you can opt for the darling dinette in the corner where yet another built-in provides shelving for displays of beautiful, white ironstone (yes, I’m coveting her ironstone right now).
Okay, how cute is this powder room? Pretty adorable, right? Courtney has removed the doors of the vanity and replaced it with soft skirting. It really softens the room and lends a feminine touch, along with the gorgeous vintage mirror.
Textural elements and a soft color palette are repeated in the bedroom. I have to confess, this photo is from Courtney’s previous home but is indicative of her style and it’s so pretty I wanted to include it in the tour.
The more I look at Courtney’s charming elegant home … the more I fall in love with it. Be sure to visit her at Honeycomb Creative Co. for more design inspiration. She’s definitely one talented lady!

Gorgeous!! I must know where the living room console table came from!
Hi Faren! The console was purchased from Joss and Main, but I believe you can also find it at Wayfair.com. Hope that helps! Thanks!
