You know, when I started this charming home series over a year ago, I didn’t know how long it would last. I feared I might run out of beautiful homes to feature … but that hasn’t been the case at all! There are so many charming homes that I think this series will go on for at least another year or two! I know many of you have been enjoying it, and I appreciate each and everyone of you who show up on Sunday mornings to enjoy a home tour. Today I have the great pleasure of featuring Lauren from Bless’er House!
Lauren lives in a fairly new house and she’s added so many custom touches to it! I think anyone living in new construction would benefit from all her creative DIY ideas. She’s such an inspiration. Here, her front porch is decked out for Fall with plenty of mums and wooden pumpkins!
Step inside the front door to the entryway and you’ll see that Lauren’s creative genius spills out from every room! In the entryway, she added shiplap walls and gorgeous DIY botanic artwork.
A creative rope chandelier is suspended above a circular table in the dining room. Studded upholstered chairs provide comfortable seating while a shuttered buffet creates a textural focal point in the room.
Lauren’s living room combines neutral textures with painted furniture. Overhead, a unique ceiling fan provides refreshing circulation in the southern locale. Lauren shares her furniture makeover projects on her blog, like this unique coffee table. Script pillows lend a feminine touch to the room.
On the other side of the room is my most favorite faux fireplace ever! I absolutely adore the logs that Lauren wedged into the fireplace opening. Paired with the brick and wood mantel, the textures create an appealing focal point. Lauren shares the tutorial on her blog … I’ve bookmarked it for future reference!
I LOVE clocks so when I saw the clock wall in Lauren’s breakfast room I was immediately and hopelessly smitten! I’ve got a mirror wall in my dining room, but now I’m trying to figure out where to add a clock wall. Did you notice the clever positioning of the word “EAT” tucked between the clocks?
In the master bedroom, Lauren applied a relaxing, serene touch with neutral colors.
The master bathroom got a complete makeover and shows off its beautiful farmhouse style. You won’t believe the “before.” Lauren definitely has a knack at seeing her decorating vision through to completion!
Her daughter’s ballerina bedroom would be a special treat for any young girl! A simple chandelier, soft bedding, and a painted bed make for a soft and feminine retreat from the world.
Be sure to visit Lauren at Bless’er House where she shares oodles of inspiration … like how to make this vintage map! Her creativity is endless and her home is beautiful!
