It’s the first Sunday of May and it’s a beautiful one! We’re enjoying fabulous weather right now and it’s put me in the best of moods. Hubby and I worked in the yard yesterday and will do the same today. But first, I’m happy to share Pamela’s charming home at From My Front Porch to Yours.
Pamela’s living room is simply breathtaking! She and hubby recently added the ceiling beams, enhancing the richness and charm of the room with its French Country vibe.
Here’s another view of the room where you can see the expansive windows with their pretty buffalo checked curtains. The arched window allows a view into the kitchen.
Pamela continues her French Country decor into her beautiful kitchen.
She painted the upper cabinets, while leaving the bottom ones as is.
Pamela’s eat-in kitchen has a pretty pie safe in the corner.
I love her use of warm woods throughout her home.
You’ll find more warmth and style in the dining room. A pretty patterned rug lays the groundwork while a gorgeous chandelier tops the room.
Chandeliers don’t stop at the dining room … you’ll find an elegant one in Pamela’s laundry room.
The guest bathroom is beautiful in neutral tones. A wire basket atop the toilet tank holds bathroom necessities for visiting guests.
Pamela recently gave her master bedroom a makeover and she did a knock-out job.
The planked walls are a perfect addition and I love the pairing of toile pillows with the buffalo checks.
Today’s blue and white beach house by DiMauro Architects leaves me yearning for a vacation somewhere by the sea, but I could just as easily live in this house year-round! Lucky for me, hubby and I are headed to Maine later this week. It’s my first time visiting that state. If you’ve been there, let…
Today’s charming home feature is a new-to-me blog! When I first started this Sunday series over a year ago (yes, it’s been more than a year), I wondered when I’d run out of charming homes to feature. There are still a ton on my list I haven’t gotten to yet, and I keep running across…

Let’s take a trip to Madrid, Spain to enjoy a bit of sunshine and a beautiful Spanish city house by Coton et bois with a lovely rooftop terrace! The first thing that caught my eye in today’s home tour was a lovely arch leading to the living room. I love anything that makes a home…
Would you ever live in a church, school, or maybe a barn? I have to give a lot of credit to architects and homeowners that can see beyond the four walls of a building and envision something spectacular. Today’s charming home tour is an amazing, renovated Victorian school that I found on Houzz (photos by…
I’m placing a bet right now that you’re going to love today’s home tour. This Wisconsin lake house by Park and Oak Design is filled with modern country style that’s fresh, clean, warm, and inviting all at once. Pure perfection! Photo by Park and Oak Design And guess what? The design firm is just a…
