Charming Home Tour ~ Karen’s Up on the Hill
Last Sunday I took a break from the Charming Home Series in order to participate in the Thanksgiving blog hop with some of my friends. Today I’m happy to be back at the home tour series and you’re going to love today’s tour! Karen from Karen’s Up on the Hill has only been blogging for 4 months and in that short time she’s shared quite a bit of her house. Wanna take a look?
Karen’s entry way sets the stage for the rest of her home and has everything I love.
A charming cow print, white ironstone plates hanging on the wall, a primitive bench, and natural elements.
Put them all together and you have the makings of a perfectly charming home!
In the living room, Karen has painted paneling paired with beautiful wood floors.
Comfortable furnishings and plenty of natural light make this an inviting and relaxing room.
Karen’s large fireplace is surrounded by built-ins where she showcases her white ironstone.
You can never have too many ironstone pieces and it’s great to have a place to show them off.
The warmth of wood floors is echoed in Karen’s beautiful kitchen cabinetry.
Large windows and touches of white keep the space light and bright.
A gorgeous rug sets the stage for the dining room in Karen’s charming home.
The color palette throughout the house is soft and appealing.
A shabby chic dresser serves as a serving and storage area in the kitchen’s dining room.
Karen displays more of her beautiful white ironstone in this charming room.
Painted paneling, a pretty patterned rug, and expansive windows make Karen’s den comfortable and cozy.
Farmhouse touches are evident in this charming home, like the cow’s head and horse print.
Soft colors continue into the guest bedroom with plush bedding and plenty of pillows.
What guest wouldn’t be comfy in this pretty room with a large flat screen television?
Finally, Karen’s master bedroom is painted a beautiful blue that’s echoed in the floral comforter.
Be sure to visit Karen’s charming home over at Karen’s Up on the Hill.
