If you’re not familiar with glamping, it’s simply glamour and camping combined. It’s perfect for the person who loves the outdoors but doesn’t love the idea of bugs and other creepy crawlies so much.

Not all glamping tents are as beautifully decorated as this one. Did you notice it even offers electricity? The glamping experience a couple of hours from our house only offers lanterns for lights.

If, like me, you hate the thought of a snoozing in a claustrophobic sleeping bag, glamour-style camping might be right up your alley.
When I was in college, I took a backpacking class for a gym credit, thinking I wouldn’t have to do anything physical. I later found out that we had to actually take a backpacking trip and it was winter semester so I found myself sleeping in a mummy sleeping bag in a snow fort! It was a horrible night, but cross-country skiing the next day in Michigan’s gorgeous upper peninsula made the trip worth while.

Look how cute this glamping tent is from the outside! So what do you think? Could you stay overnight in one of these?

It looks interesting , but i’m not sure i care to try. When my boys were little we would go camping and i enjoyed it , they had such a good time and cooking out in the open made the food taste so good. Let’s just say i did it and that’s enough, haha!
I am with you, I am not a camper, I don’t like to be cold, and I hate bugs. I think I could manage this place.
We camped when the kids were little and it was fun then, but I was not unhappy to leave it behind as they grew up. It’s the same work for Mom as when you’re home, only much less convenient. I could very well stay overnight in this oh-so-nice tent with its bed up off the ground, so long as it wasn’t hot and humid and the mosquitos weren’t biting. My tolerance for discomfort has decreased as my age has increased. I love nature and I love being outside, but I want my creature comforts when it’s time for bed. Give me a cabin in the woods with a comfortable bed on a screened in sleeping porch and 70 degree temperatures and I’ll call that “camping.”
