Charming Tudor Style Home on Long Island
Today we’re touring a very charming Tudor style home that’s nestled on Long Island. You’ll find the interior spaces to be both comfortable and appealing to look at. I think anyone could call this house “home.”
The kitchen has an air of richness about it with the warmth of wood floors and dark blue custom cabinetry.
Isn’t this wall of blue cabinetry just dreamy? I love the wallpaper used here, along with the leather door and cabinet pulls. The look is unique and cozy.
The small dining room enjoys the same wallpaper. A unique light fixture and and soft drapes in the same off-white color finish off the space.
You’ll typically see arches in a Tudor style home and this one doesn’t disappoint. And you know, the more I see wallpaper the more I want it in my home. I think I’ll wallpaper the upper walls of my downstairs bathroom. I just think it makes a home look so rich if not overdone.
A cozy living room enjoys a built-in bookcase and beautiful fireplace.
Grass cloth wallpaper warms up the home office with pretty patterned drapes and black roller shades. A sisal rug lends texture to the room.

You’re right. This house is really homey. The blue cabinets add a crispness to the kitchen and it was interesting how they used wallpaper instead of tile on that big wall of cabinets. My kitchen is like that. No tile, just wallpaper and I’m keeping it! But I will have to paint the cabinets so seeing these homes with painted blue cabinets is really a big help to me right now. Can’t wait to see what you do with your bathroom!
Are those Devol cabinets? They have a showroon in NYC. I love that dark green floral wallpaper, too. Tudor is my favorite style. I had one once and would love another.
Those kitchen cabinets were a wow factor, i never would have guessed the leather pulls. Loved the wall paper that was used, well thought out idea and so warm.
What a truly lovely home. It looks lived in, lived and enjoyed. Like others I live the kitchen and wallpaper.
*’lived‘ should read ‘loved’. Smartphone keyboard too small for chubby fingers!
Beautful! Window treatments and wallpaper make a huge difference.
I like the kitchen with it’s warmth and the window nook for sure. That grass cloth is a nice added touch of texture. I do prefer more warm woods in a space but this style is very design savvy, very pretty.
The painted kitchen cabinets are wonderful! Those drawer pulls are a real nice touch too.
I’d love paint colors for inside/outside bookshelves! Very dramatic!
I would also love the paint colors for the inside/outside of the bookcases as well as the wall color. A wonderful combination!
