Cozy Cabins, Pretty Bathrooms, and More: Friday Finds
The past couple days I’ve been busy cleaning and organizing because 1) the house really needs it and 2) the family is coming over tomorrow! It’ll be a full house, but we plan to get outside after grabbing coffee from the cafe that’s just three blocks from my home. I’m hoping it’s windy enough to fly some kites in the forest preserve which is just two blocks from my house. But for two of the grandkids, they’ll be most excited about celebrating their birthdays and opening presents. I’m keeping my fingers crossed that everyone stays healthy so we can all be together. Despite the business, I still found some treasures this week for today’s edition of Friday Finds.

Today I have to start with this amazing mountain home in New York state. It embodies the essence of true coziness, comfort, and design. I would love to spend winters in this retreat – especially at Thanksgiving and Christmas.
Next up is a charming collection of green and white bathrooms. From sage to mint to emerald green and everything in between, these 23 bathrooms don’t disappoint! It’s great inspiration if you’re thinking of giving your bathroom a refresh.
Some of you already follow Ann at On Sutton House, and today I want to share some of the fall touches in her home. I especially love the faux stems she used and how she arranged them. Ann is so talented!
Looking for something a little less traditional to decorate for Halloween? Heidi shares how to carve quilt patterns into pumpkins! I think these would be great for a Thanksgiving centerpiece. And bonus – they don’t seem hard to do.
Lately I’ve been on a cabin decor kick. Probably because the days are getting cooler and fall always makes me think of heading to some remote cabin for a weekend to enjoy all the colors of nature this time of year. Lucky me (and now you), I stumbled across this cabin renovation that had me scrolling through the photos a few times to take it all in!
I hope you have wonderful weather this weekend so you can get outside and enjoy some time with Mother Nature!
