Create a Cozy Guest Bedroom for the Holidays

While shopping at Kohl’s, I found a coordinating sheet set that’s also very soft on the skin. I’m super picky about the sheets I choose. My mother taught me all about thread count and fabric and I have to say, the Temperature Regulating Sheet Set in Fossil by Columbia is some of the best I’ve ever slept on (yes, I had to test it out).

 

With family arriving for the holidays, I needed to purchase a few more pillows. People can be very opinionated about their pillows – some like firm pillows, others like pillows you can sink your head into. I chose Ice Fiber Side Sleeper Down Alternative Pillows, also by Columbia, with constant cooling. In my opinion, this is the best pillow I’ve ever owned and I plan to purchase more for our bedrooms.

 

The final new addition for cozying up a guest bedroom during the holidays is a Plush Sherpa Fleece Throw in  Ivory Pom by Cuddlduds.This amazingly soft throw can be used as an extra blanket, or wrapped around your body when reading in bed or venturing down the hall to the bathroom.

 

In creating a Bed and Breakfast experience for holiday guests, I want the bed to feel like it’s giving you a big cuddly hug at the end of the day. I think it’s important to make guests feel like they’re on a little vacation when they come to visit.

I love that all of these super soft bedding items feel so luxurious but still affordable. An added bonus is that they’re all machine washable!
