Beautiful Bedrooms to Dream In
Some of my friends and family members have difficulty sleeping. On occasion, I struggle with sleep too, although lately I haven’t had any problems. My philosophy is that if you have pretty space for sleeping, it’s easier to drift off. I say this because I think your surroundings can calm your nerves and create a sense of peace. I asked some of my blogging friends if I could share their beautiful bedrooms with you.
Kim’s blog at Savvy Southern Style was one of the first I ever started reading. Her gorgeous farmhouse style guest bedroom is always beautifully styled and guaranteed to create sweet dreams!
The “sanctuary” sign in Doreen’s master bedroom as seen in her summer home tour at Hymns and Verses says it all. The charming bedroom in gray and blush is sure to be favored by Mr. Sandman.
Serene blue is paired with black in the guest bedroom styled by Shirley at Housepitality Designs. So pretty! Wouldn’t everyone want to catch a few winks in this beautiful bed?
More farmhouse style makes its appearance in The Honeycomb Home’s bedroom makeover. I love all the neutral tones and use of texture.
Blue and white is a classic color combination for beautiful bedrooms and this French-inspired room by Lory at Designthusiasm doesn’t disappoint! I think an uncluttered bedroom is easier to sleep in – at least for me it is. I’m not worried about having to clean the room as I try to fall asleep.
Angie from Postcards at the Ridge uses a combination of decorative pillows to freshen up her farmhouse bedroom.
I love the bold blue and green paired with white in this simple yet beautiful bedroom makeover by Love My Simple Home. I need those reading lamps in my bedroom!
Janet at Shabbyfufu proves that sometimes all it takes to create a stunning French-inspired bedroom is a gorgeous statement bed!
Blue is a popular color choice for beautiful bedrooms and Cyndy at The Creativity Exchange paired soothing shades in her master bedroom makeover.
I’m in love with the leaf garland in Janine’s master bedroom. She blogs at Happy Happy Nester. I’ve always admired her style!
For something a little different, how about this creative glam bedroom wall treatment by Polished Habitat? The gray and blue color scheme is conducive for drifting off to sleep.
And now for something special … one of my blog readers sent me a photo of her charming bedroom! Deb G. gave her bedroom a makeover with farmhouse elements like a comforting quilt on an statement bed. I love the gathered skirt of the bedspread, too. The blue and white lamps aren’t identical, but provide a perfect pairing on either side. Thanks for sharing your photo, Deb!
And finally, here’s one of my humble, under-the eaves bedrooms shown at different times of the year. People ask me what color is on the walls but I don’t remember. I should really write this stuff down so I don’t forget.

Such a beautiful collection and thank you for including my beach bedroom. Pinning!
What a wonderful round up of pretty summertime bedrooms! Thanks so much for including my bedroom! I’m so honored to be to be included among this talented group of bloggers!
They are all so lovely~~and so very tempting that I wouldn’t mind climbing into any of those beds for a lovely nap…
Lots of nice bedrooms. In regards to your bedroom, I’m not sure, but I think the color is blue. As long as I’m bring a smart Alec, do you think my DIL would be offended if I recommended the Savvy bedroom for their guest Room? Of course she would, unless I did the work. Ha ha
Pinned these i need some new ideas, i’m stumped on what to do with mine.
Great examples, Jennifer! I struggle with falling asleep as well, and I’ve been on a quest to create a sanctuary feel in our bedroom to relax in at the end of the day. I agree with you that keeping everything neat & tidy makes it easier to drift off…you’re so right about that. When I start looking around, I don’t want to see my husband’s dirty socks on the floor and laundry overflowing from the hamper 😉 BTW, I love the botanical print creation that you’ve got hanging in front of the piece of salvaged white wood that you put together over your bed (the upper right photo). What a wonderful idea!
Wishing you peaceful nights ahead,
Mary
