Decorating with Pastels

Spring is the season of pastels … soft color, soft sunlight, and the wakening of the world from its slumber. The faint hues of spring prepare us for the riotous smorgasboard of colors in the summer. I love spring and everything about it! Even the gentle rains that freshen the earth. An annual springtime ritual of mine is decorating with pastels throughout the home. Here’s a few examples from Houzz that are giving me inspiration for the next couple months.

  2. Those stairs and that gorgeous front door are so fun! And painting a furniture piece is a subtle way of introducing pastels into an interior and (for obvious reasons) one of my favorites.
