Having arrived home from England on Saturday evening left me little time to enjoy the weekend. But I managed to deadhead all the fading flowers and worked around the pond a bit to clean things up. We had a tornado come through town while I was gone and fortunately, none of our trees were knocked down like many of our neighbors. Only some of the taller flowers like the hollyhocks were blown over but easily revived. Funny that the sunflowers remained unscathed (and I’m sharing how to decorate with sunflowers for today’s showcase). We got lucky!
