Eclectically Vintage ~ Charming Home Tour

I’ve been reading home and garden blogs for almost 5 years now, and one of the first I discovered was Eclectically Vintage. I remember the first time I saw her kitchen I thought, “this girl knows what she’s doing!” I love Kelly’s eclectic style and her ability to seamlessly and beautifully marry different decor styles together. Many bloggers come and go so I’m happy Kelly is still around sharing her genius decorating style with the world.

100 Year Old House. Eclectically Vintage.Kelly’s beautiful home is over 100 years old. You can see that she’s kept her house in good shape with its muted color scheme on the exterior.

Foyer with Two-Tone Staircase and Cowhide RugA spacious, well-lit foyer anxiously greets you as you enter the front door. A farmhouse style staircase, 5 panel door, and rich wood floors hint at the age of the home.

Eclectic Living RoomI love Kelly’s living room with its serene ambiance that’s slightly interrupted with pops of blue and red. A beautiful scroll work rug underfoot adds to the elegance of this eclectic living room.

Dining RoomKelly uses rich color in her rooms, like the red rug and green walls here in her charming dining room. Note that Kelly used 2 pendant lights in this space, as opposed to one.

White KitchenAnd here’s the famous kitchen that I mentioned at the beginning of this blog post. I love the big teardrop pendants lights suspended over the kitchen island that does double duty as a breakfast bar.

Red Stove in Eclectic KitchenKelly’s creativity allowed her to add a red stove in her eclectic kitchen, as opposed to the standard stainless steel. I love this pop of color in her kitchen.

Eclectic Family RoomYou’ll see a bit more red in Kelly’s family room. In the background is her breakfast nook. Lots of sunshine streams into Kelly’s pretty home, which is always a plus!

Colorful SunroomAnd speaking of sunshine, Kelly adds fun color to her sunroom. The bright color balances the ample sunlight streaming in throughout the day. Such a cheery space!

Master Bedroom in Blue and WhiteA new bed takes up residence in the master bedroom, but I can’t stop looking at the whimsical chandelier!

Master BathroomKelly’s master bathroom evokes farmhouse style with its big soaker tub.

Attic Guest BedroomA guest bedroom in the attic has cozy appeal under the eaves. I love that this room has just a touch of brick. Kelly’s eclectic style is evident throughout her home and you can’t help but fall a little in love.
