Flea Market Style

Welcome to another installment of Humpdays with Houzz!

On Wednesdays I share inspiration and decorating ideas from the popular web site.

Today is all about flea market style, which is vintage and eclectic all at once.

My favorite place to shop for home decor is our local Kane County Flea Market, held once a month.

This cottage kitchen has flea market style written all over it!

Aqua mason jars, red and white canisters, a vintage sign, and a wheeled kitchen cart

are all things you’d find on a jaunt to your local flea market.

A quaint bedroom has a charming flea market style rattan headboard.

Old trunks, vintage plates on the wall, and a vintage school clock complete the look.

Flea market style typically incorporates an eclectic mix of furniture.

Collections such as vintage books or silver vases help to pull a room together.

Bright colors inspired by fiesta ware are echoed in the cabinets and doors of this kitchen.

A whimsical horse graces the double farmhouse sinks.

Flea market decorating often includes an unexpected touch.

Elegance meets rustic in this flea market infused dining room.

A primitive farmhouse table provides casual comfort,

while formal urns and a collection of architectural tiles adorn the window.

An adorable garden shed turned guest cottage is loaded with flea market finds.

A quilt on the wall, a shabby drop leaf table and chairs, a collection of vintage dishes and more,

all come together to create a cheery and inviting space for visitors to enjoy.

Flea market decorating can take on a wide variety of styles.

looks dreamy with mismatched chairs and pretty vintage chandelier.

When you find gorgeous vintage furniture at the flea market it’s always a good score!

Although these wooden pieces have different styling, their tone of wood unites them.

Vintage suitcases on the floor provide extra storage while echoing the warmth of the wood pieces.

The flea market is a great place for finding unique pieces.

Or finding items that fit into your beloved collections.

You can take flea market style outside, too.

This adorable garden dinette set looks cheery with a vintage tablecloth and dishes.

What are some of your favorite finds from the flea market?
