Golden Autumn Days Table Setting
Have you started planning for Thanksgiving yet? I like to get an early start because it means I’ll be less stressed as the holiday draws nearer. This week I’m joining a lovely group of bloggers to share inspirational table settings; it’s part of the Styled + Set series organized by Lory at Designthusiasm. My dining creation is called the Golden Autumn Days Table Setting. You’ll notice the tablescape has a golden glow about it. A big welcome to those of you joining me from French Garden House! The golden leaves on the table are from our towering maple tree at the end of our driveway. It seems to take forever before all the leaves drop and we wait to rake the yard until the tree has purged itself of all its leaves.
My regular readers know that I recently (and finally) found a new farmhouse dining table! I decided to get a new set of white dishes too, found on clearance at World Market. I couldn’t decide on a napkin color so I opted to pair red henna napkins and golden yellow napkins for this year’s Thanksgiving table, alternating them at each place setting.

Candlelight is a must for holiday dining. The glow of flickering flames creates a special ambiance.
Tall candle holders made in Spain of recycled glass pair with shorter pressed glass candle sticks. The bamboo script mat underfoot is perfect for a dining room. Food spills wipe up easily and don’t stain the mat.
My new dining table from Wayfair has three leaves; in this photo we’ve only added one leaf. At full extension, it’s 11 feet long. My new chandelier is sitting in a box waiting for my hubby to install it – hopefully this weekend.

Wood chargers cradle the white plates and matching bowls. A natural woven table runner protects the table from the berry vine and dripping candle wax.
Each guest can keep the Baby Boos tucked in their bowls with a golden maple leaf.
Pressed glassware in amber tones are from World Market.
Danieli flatware is also from World Market.

As the day comes to a close, the candles provide soft lighting for my Golden Autumn Days table setting.
Dining at dusk always feels warm and cozy to me.
My farmhouse dining table and new dinnerware are ready for my family on Thanksgiving day. Everyone will be here and I’m really looking forward to the holiday.
Here’s a beautiful Autumn Song by Van Morrison. I hope you’ll give it a listen. I think you’ll enjoy it!
Next up on today’s tour of Thanksgiving table settings is Becky’s Farmhouse. I adore her style and think you will too! Below are the rest of today’s bloggers and underneath that are links from the entire week. Lots of eye candy goodness to consume!

Jennifer, your farmhouse table looks so warm and inviting set for Thanksgiving. I love the golden yellows and reds paired with white. I’m sure that everyone will have a memorable time seated at your table. It’s a joy to be on this tour with you! xo Lidy
Jennifer, this table just exudes warmth!! I particularly love the glow of your beautiful candlesticks!! So lovely!
Hi Jennifer! What a charming fall table and I love that you showed the candles lit. It all looks so cozy! It’s a bit early but Happy Thanksgiving!
I love the golden glow of your table and can imagine sitting there for hours enjoying a great Thanksgiving meal!
It will certainly be fun with all your family gathered around your pretty new table and all those beautiful colors. You did a great job showing Fall in your dining room.
That is one BEAUTIFUL Thanksgiving table!
Your table is so pretty Jennifer – and perfectly representative of fall. The warm colors, mixed with the white dishes (my favorite!) and those chargers (love those!) makes for a simple and beautiful table.

A very beautiful table setting. You do such a wonderful job as always.
Very pretty. I bought the Danieli flatware about 2 or 3 years ago and LOVE it. I have several sets but I always seem to gravitate to the Danieli for almost every special occasion. Thanks for sharing your gorgeous tablescape.
This fall Thanksgiving table is so pretty! And it looks great in candle light too!!
SIMPLY GORGEOUS!
Thank you, Rebecca! I put a lot of thought into this table setting. 🙂
