Live Among the Flowers: A Beautiful New Book Giveaway
If you love the idea of living among flowers all summer long, Flowering Outdoors by Margaret Shaw is going to be your new happy place. This beautiful book is packed with inspiration from a variety of tastemakers who know how to make outdoor spaces feel like true โrooms,” whether itโs a cozy city balcony, a breezy seaside terrace, a mountain retreat, or a charming country patio. What’s more – this new book is being released tomorrow and I’m giving away copy of it to one of my readers. All you need to do to enter for a chance to win it is to leave a comment at the end of this post. The winner will be announced next Monday, February 23rd.
I already have a copy of this new book and the photos inside its pages are absolutely stunning – providing plenty of inspiration for outdoor summer living and entertaining. The outdoor luncheon below was styled by Katie Ritter at the Phipps Plaza in Palm Beach. A citrus-print tablecloth pairs with plenty of color and gold bamboo flatware. You’ll find more stunning photos of this event within the book.
I love this cozy set-up for a game of Mahjong. Note how the colors of the surrounding landscape complement the table setting itself. The setting is casual country filled with natural beauty.
Even a simple picnic table becomes a beautiful luncheon space for summer entertaining – whether it’s for your family or friends. Consider choosing regular place settings as opposed to paper plates for al fresco dining. Flowering Outdoors gives you ample ideas for enjoying the great outdoors this year.
In addition to beautiful outdoor tablescapes, you’ll enjoy a variety of garden spaces that will simply take your breath away. Purple alium pairs with large-leaved hostas on this dreamy garden path.
An exquisite cottage garden is the stuff fairy tales are made of and this Flowering Outdoors has more than enough inspiration you need for your best summer living.
If you’re a flower lover like me, this book is right up your alley. Flip through its pages and start dreaming of what you can do with your yard and landscape.
To enter for a chance to win your own copy of Flowering Outdoors, simply leave a comment below. The winner will be chosen at random and announced here on the blog next Monday, February 23rd.

I LOVE that you included a Mahj Jongg table in your selection of photos ! I am planning my “morning” room from my 3 season enclosed porch. It will include a table for breakfast.. flipped to a Mahj jongg table for the afternoons…… I am a table scape addict……… and love the art of gathering around one.. and always say : there is a seat at my table for everyone.
My spirit needed this post today. โฅ

The Flowering Garden book amazing. Love the photo of the tall alliums lining the pathway to the bench.
Your Blog has become my favorite daily email to open. It is like taking a trip around the US to see beautiful homes decorated with wonderful ideas to view and possibly utilize in my home. I like your blog because it covers such a wide range of decor genres! I desperately need ideas for flower pots or mini garden since I live in Northern Colorado where it is difficult to have a true garden full of beautiful flowers even if it is for a coupe of seasons!
The pictures shown are beautiful!
I was watching flowers to plant last night. I have more areas of shade or partial sun so I need help. LOL Thanks for the opportunity.
Those photos are so inspiring. I am in the middle of winter here in Canada, and will be for a few more months. I dream of spring and am anxiously waiting to see the signs – buds on trees, the first glimpse of the 300 bulbs I planted last fall and hearing sweet birdsong. From Prince Edward Island.
Can’t wait for spring! It’s been a long, cold, snowy winter, and I w\need to see some flowers in my yard. They feed my spirit and my soul.
I would love to own a copy of that beautiful book. Thank you!
These pictures are beautiful. A few of them are breathtaking. We are still seeing mounds of snow slowly melt, so this post was a breath of fresh, spring air. And a great catalyst to start planning my garden.

HELLO JENNIFER, I LIVE IN GREECE AND SPECIFICALLY IN A COASTAL TOWN 50 KILOMETERS OUTSIDE OF ATHENS. I LOVE DECORATION AND I DO IT AMATEUR, ALTHOUGH I WOULD LIKE TO DO IT PROFESSIONALLY AT SOME TIME. I LOVE EVERYTHING YOU SEND TO MY EMAIL. THIS TIME, HOWEVER, I AM DOUBLE HAPPY BECAUSE YOUR POST IS RELATED TO A BOOK ABOUT GARDENING WHICH I FIND WONDERFUL AND AMAZING, I DON’T THINK I COULD HAVE SOMETHING BETTER THAN THIS. A BOOK ON TWO DECORATION – GARDENING. I LOVE FLOWERS, EVEN THOUGH I LIVE IN A LARGE APARTMENT, MY BALCONY IS ALWAYS FULL OF MULTICOLORFUL FLOWERS. THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR EVERYTHING , I HOPE I’LL BE LUCKY!!!
Living in the mountains, we just don’t get the lush gardens as in these pictures. I love these gardens!
