Old Home Restoration, Beautiful Small Bathrooms, Dessert + More: Friday Finds

Finally I crossed a hurdle that I’ve been battling for a few months now. I chose a paint color for my family room. I agonized between blue, green, and off-white, and finally settled on a lovely shade of sage green by Benjamin Moore called Scenic Drive. Normally I choose color pretty quickly, and I’m not sure why this was such a struggle for me. I think perhaps it’s from trying to find the perfect shade and overthinking it. In the end, I went with my gut. Hopefully I can get some painting done soon! But for now, let’s turn to this week’s Friday Finds.

  1. You will love the new color for your family room! My dining room is Scenic Drive, painted several years ago, and I have not tired of it. I get many compliments on the room. Enjoy!

  2. I love the color you choose it looks neutral and fresh. Now to the Colonial home tour I loved it. The change in the dining room is a much better use of space and very creative, What I really loved is she didn’t make bows from the ribbon she used on the Christmas tree and garland on the mantle. By leaving it long and it created a “look at me” moment. I’m doing it and see how it goes. I wonder how long each one was I think that may make a difference. See, it is the little things that matter. LOL

  3. I love looking at remodeled old houses, so nice to see they don’t change a lot of the wonderful features they have. Thank you so much for these finds.
