Robb Restyle: Charming Home Tour
Here in Illinois we’re enjoying a “heat wave” of sorts. It’s in the mid 60-degree temperatures which is almost unheard of this time of year. I want to get out and take some photos of adorable bungalows and cottages in our area … maybe tomorrow. But for now, you can enjoy Kristy’s fun and colorful bungalow from Robb Restyle. It’s so adorable. So charming. And just plain happy.
Kristy used a sunny yellow paint on the side entrance door to her home, and it pretty much sums up her attitude with decorating in general. It should be fun, stylish, and should put a smile on your face. Even the curtain and welcome mat add playful patterns of color.
And on the front porch, you’ll see a collection of vintage furniture and decor. It’s a hint at what’s to come when you step inside. This fun retro bench makes me want to head on over to our local flea market.
Inside, you’re greeted by rich wood trim and fun colors. A vintage typewriter takes center stage on a teal-colored desk. The old-school lamp desk matches perfectly.
Kristy added a bold-colored rug to her bungalow living room; an unexpected but pleasant surprise. I appreciate decorating ideas that don’t always follow the norm. Because sometimes you get tired of seeing the same thing time and time again.
I’m totally crushing on this green chair that Kristy painted.
On her blog, Kristy shares the recent makeover of her kitchen. She paired a rustic farmhouse feel with vintage touches. The result is a unique and stylish kitchen.
And how adorable is her retro breakfast nook? It looks straight out of a 50’s diner!
Kristy’s dining room serves multiple purposes. She uses it not only for meal service, but as an office and craft space. It’s great when rooms can function in multiple ways. I love the bright red chairs and the fun pendant light.
Kristy’s boys’ bedroom wears that same fun green shade we saw on the painted chair in the living room. Here, she frames it with dark blue walls.
And what a great mom Kristy is. Look at this playhouse in the backyard created for her children. She and her husband enjoy projects and hunting for flea market finds.

We had that same kitchen table in the 50’s 😝 our chairs were grey I think. Always enjoy the vintage tours. Those front porch chairs are so appealing and fun.
