The Amazing Christmas Trees of Chicago: Happy Holidays
Merry Christmas! I don’t know if anyone will be taking a moment to visit the blog today but I thought I’d share a festive collection of trees seen in the beautiful city of Chicago. I think cities can be such a fun place to visit and one day I’d love to be in London during the Christmas season. But for now, let’s enjoy the amazing Christmas trees of Chicago.
This beauty stands tall at the Wrigley building on Michigan Avenue, also known as the Magnificent Mile due to all the stores that line the famous street.
This glamorous gal takes center stage in the lobby of a hotel, but I can’t remember the name of it. LOL. We had dinner in the hotel’s restaurant before heading over to the Joffrey Ballet at the Opera House to see the Nutcracker.
One of the amazing Christmas trees you can’t miss when visiting Chicago is the stately display in the Walnut Room at Macy’s. Reserve lunch or dinner and admire the decorations.
You’ll find a range of decorated trees in Macy’s holiday section. I like the pears on this tree that also shows little jars of jam ornaments.
Whimsical pink and green ornaments adorn this fun tree that was one of my favorites.
If you like a neutral tree with metallics, this display will tickle your fancy. It also features paper honeycomb ornaments.
Wouldn’t it be fun to decorate all these amazing Christmas trees in Macy’s holiday department?
Here’s a pair of golden beauties.
Mushrooms and pears decorate this tree, with a green velvet ribbon flowing down the sides from the bow on top.
A frosted tree resides next to rich wood walls in an Italian Chicago restaurant where we had lunch a few weeks ago.
You’ll find large trees lit up all along Michigan Avenue. I wonder how many lights are on these trees. They’re so impressive.
If you want to see a truly magnificent holiday display, look no further than the Chicago Botanic Garden which has the best light show I’ve ever seen.
Chicago is a magical place to visit during the Christmas season, although it can get a little crowded. It’s best to explore on a weekday.
Wishing you all a very Merry Christmas! I hope you experience peace and joy.
Merry Christmas to you too. I read you everyday, I normally do not leave comments, but I want to say Thanks for your daily presence.
