The Most Charming Cottage Farmhouse in New York

Tucked away in the picturesque state of New York, this enchanting cottage farmhouse by Emily Pertzborn Interiors is the perfect blend of rustic charm and timeless elegance. The home belongs to actress Bryce Dallas Howard and is inspired by Jane Austen books. You’ll find soft colors, beautiful wallpaper patterns, and vintage details throughout.

This blush-hued room might look like a dining room, but it’s actually a home office and served as the home-school room during the Covid pandemic. The wallpaper is a wonderfully dusty rose print by William Morris.ย

  1. This home is lovely. It is in the Hudson/Catskills area in NYS. Most people in the beautiful rest of true Upstate NY do not consider that area to be “upstate”, but rather part of “the City”. There are many more tour worthy homes upstate- try the Finger Lakes, Buffalo region, even Syracuse and Utica areas. Our North Country and Southern tier areas boast incredible farms and Victorian homes.

  2. I love that green lamp it is gorgeous. My other pick are those heart shaped dining chairs, wonder where those came from.
