9 Pretty Living Rooms in a Variety of Styles

Does anyone else get in the mood to make decorating changes during the spring season? It happens to me every year. I think it’s due to the reawakening of the earth, it feels like interior spaces should come back to life, too, Even if it’s a simple matter of swapping out heavy throws and pillows in exchange for lighter textiles. Today I’m featuring a collection of pretty living rooms that take a lighter decorating approach.

The above living room is rich in classical style with serene neutral tones. Perfect for relaxing. Note a few spring green accents in the room – nothing overwhelming, just a touch of color.

The small living space below enjoys a modern farmhouse vibe that’s light and airy with the surround of windows and ample use of white. Multiple linen pendant lights add unexpected drama.

A Mediterranean style room goes green with natural textures and a large palm plant. A beaded chandelier adds a crowning touch while a faux cow hide layers over a sisal rug underfoot.

A Spanish home enjoys a light-filled living space with wood beam ceilings and traditional furnishings. Aqua hues are added to the room with pillows and throws, a perfect color for ushering in the spring season.

A bolder blue is featured on a cozy love seat in an historic living room with a double-sided fireplace. Beige walls and floral rugs keep the room light and clean looking.

Here’s a cheery space that’s reminiscent of a vacation rental. Blue and white always create a refreshing coastal vibe. I’m loving the unique light fixture.

And finally, a cozy cabin living room to warm your heart and make you smile. I love the mix of brick, wood, fine china, and patterned furniture. Despite the rough hewn wood walls, the room looks fresh as spring with its pastel accents and flowers.
