9 Warm and Cozy Living Rooms: A Portfolio of Fall
Today’s collection of cozy living rooms embrace the warmth of fall and provide inspiration for adding the appeal of autumn to your own space. From warm colors to charming textiles, there’s something for everyone.
Rust and blue colors accent this Mediterranean style living room with its arched doorways and rough-hewn ceiling beams. Blue is a wonderful complementary color for warm fall hues. It adds a touch of contrasting coolness.

For a lighter autumn palette, consider sunny yellow. Used in plaid fabric, it’s accentuated nicely by a leather ottoman which infuses a bit of masculinity into this mostly feminine room.

A burnt orange sofa claims center stage with a textured rug underfoot. Southwestern fabric wraps the floor cushions, adding to the room’s warmth.

Here’s another one of today’s cozy living rooms that incorporates blue with the autumn colors of burgundy (the wing chair), the orange and cream table lamp, and the rust-striped pillows. The red of the brick fireplace also gives a nod to a fall palette.

Can a living room get any cozier than this Colonial home? A gorgeous shade of brick red looks amazing beneath the rustic wood-beamed ceiling. Primitive paintings enhance the era of this stunning house.

Neutrals are a great choice to warm up a living space, especially if you don’t like living with a lot of color. The texture of the stone fireplace, the nubby rug, the rattan ottomans, and the wood ceiling beams all lend an element of warmth through their textures.
When most of your room is neutral, consider adding one piece of furniture with a bold fall color, like the rust settee.
This room feels cozy thanks to the warm, vibrant accents like the bright yellow pillows and the rich red throw, which add a welcoming burst of color against the soft white sofa.
The last of today’s collection of cozy living rooms exudes warmth with its earthy tones, especially in the soft, textured armchairs and the rustic wooden chest used as a coffee table. The crackling fireplace adds a sense of comfort, while the floral curtains and soft lighting create a welcoming, intimate atmosphere.

Do you have a favorite from today’s line-up of living rooms? My favorite is the Colonial living room with the brick red painted fireplace.
My idea of “cozy” would probably be the last room shown. 😉
I liked the last one it was perfect, just the right amount of color.
My favorite is the golden yellow and cream check ceramic on the fireplace. Matter of fact I love the whole room.
