Blue is a great exterior color for tropical homes in the south. The color reflects the sea and is cool and calming.
Around where I live, most of the people like neutral tones for their home’s exterior, like white, gray, or taupe. But I prefer brighter colors on houses because it makes them stand out, like this lake house peeking out from behind the trees on the shoreline.
If you choose a blue exterior paint color, it doesn’t have to be bright and bold. It can be more like the color of the sky.
When a house doesn’t have a lot of character, a non-neutral color can make it special.

I have to say that I do favor the blue houses over the pink ones. No surprise coming from a blue and white fanatic 😆
Yes I liked these cute blue houses but the pink were cute too. I think it would depend on the house you lived in and it’s personality. My house is a gray blue with cedar shingles on each end and around my porch.
Jen all of these are one cuter than the next in blue. Love that little house in blue. Blue really gives that cottage feel to a home.
Hugs. Kris
