Add Color with Button Flowers and Paper Fans
Today is a special day. It’s February 25th … the day my middle child Bridget was born. She weighed a whopping 9.1 pounds at birth, and today she’s just a little thing! Today is also special because I’m guest posting on 2 different blogs today. I’m sharing a couple of easy DIY projects that quickly add pretty color to your home.
Over at Jennifer Rizzo’s, I’m sharing how to make these fast and easy button flowers.
Love the pop of color they add to an ordinary houseplant!
Then at Live Creatively Inspired, I’m sharing step-by-step instructions for making these adorable DIY paper fans that you can hang as a garland. Such an easy way to add colorful festivity to your home!

I love the button flowers. I am going to keep an eye open for buttons that go on sale so I can make a few. I am having my little niece over for her birthday on Saturday so I’m going to make the paper fan garland. Thank you for sharing your wonderful ideas!
Happy Birthday to Bridget! Today is my daughter Mallory’s 19th birthday, she weighed 6.5 lbs. Hard to believe she’s all grown up! Enjoy this day!
Jennifer the button flowers are so adorable. Happy Birthday to your sweet daughter.
