Charming Home Tour ~ Beneath My Heart
We’re full swing into decorating the house for Christmas and right now, I could use a break from choosing ornaments and deciding what goes where. So it’s with a welcome relief that Sunday is here and it’s time for another charming home tour! Today we’re visiting Traci at Beneath My Heart. She has a light and airy home that I just adore and I’m pretty sure you’ll fall in love with it too, if you haven’t already seen it!
Traci shares inspiring DIY projects on her blog, like the transformation of her beautiful fireplace. I love how she kept the base dark and painted the surround a contrasting white. The combination of light and dark always creates interest and adds a little drama in the home.
In the living room, dark wood floors ground the white decor with small pops of blue. Traci’s home is streamlined and pretty, without a lot of fuss going on. The clean look is refreshing and appealing.
I love the open shelving in Traci’s kitchen. White cabinets pop against dark wood floors creating a rich look.
Traci recently gave her dining space a makeover, with a gorgeous farmhouse style table and duo pendant lights. Upholstered end chairs add just the right amount of textiles to soften the room.
A unique desk chair takes center stage in Traci’s office with it’s clean lines and fun color. A textured rug underfoot adds warmth to the white office.
A stunning 4-poster bed becomes the focal point in Traci’s master bedroom. French doors provide easy access to the outdoors. Planked walls create cottage charm while a simple chandelier adds personal style above the bed with its charming quilt.
In the boys’ bedroom, Traci installed industrial shelving and a fun Exit sign. You’ll be amazed at all the design style she can pack into a single room. Every room is a sight for sore eyes!
A beautiful iron bed graces Traci’s daughter’s room with its floral quilt and a fun butterfly pillow. I love the painted floors in this space … it’s a charming room any girl would love to call her own.
The guest bathroom hints at farmhouse style with shiplap walls and a wooden counter top for the sink.
Outside, a cozy patio set provides seating for al fresco dining.
A nearby sideboard provides space for serving pieces when dining outdoors. Traci adds her unique touch with a galvanized bucket to hold drinks, along with her welcoming chalk board sign.
Be sure to visit Traci at Beneath My Heart for more inspiration!!
