Charming Home Tour ~ Daisy Mae Belle
Today’s charming home tour has loads of vintage appeal and I always enjoying visiting Melissa’s blog over at Daisy Mae Belle (unfortunately, Melissa is no longer blogging). I’m sure many of you are familiar with her talent and style, but it’s always fun to take another look, isn’t it? So without further ado, let’s step inside Melissa’s pretty home!
Lots of interesting details greet you at the front porch!
A lattice screen creates a bit of privacy for the seating area, complete with porch swing.
I love how Melissa added her house numbers to the planter, as opposed to the typical wall placement.
Inside, you get an immediate feel for the warmth and coziness of Melissa’s vintage style family room.
This looks like the perfect room to relax in with comfy cushions and pillows.
Did you notice the skirted storage unit in the corner? I love the softness it adds to the space.
Melissa carries that vintage softness into her dining room, as well.
The ornate mirror always catches my eye and I love the soft tones in this pretty room.
Painted kitchen cabinets lighten Melissa’s kitchen with its rustic brick backsplash.
A vintage copper pot takes center stage on the kitchen island.
The kitchen has a cozy dining nook with pretty chandelier.
An elegant brass bed steals the show in the master bedroom.
A vintage painted trunk creates additional storage at the foot of the bed.
In one of her daughter’s bedrooms, an entire wall is painted with chalkboard paint.
What kid wouldn’t want a room with a chalkboard wall? Such a clever idea!
Another daughter’s bedroom has fun and colorful charm.
I love the way Melissa mixes patterned pillows on the bed.
Is this crafting room adorable or what?? It’s so bright and cheerful!
I wish I had a charming crafting space like Melissa’s.
And do you know where you’ll find her craft room?
In this equally adorable backyard shed, which used to be a playhouse!
Yes, I’m just a wee bit envious. {smile}
Next to the craft shed are these amazing seating areas in the backyard.
Melissa’s yard is perfect for entertaining and she’s given me some ideas for my own yard.
And here it is all light up at night! Such an inviting yard and a charming home!
Jennifer, Thank you so much for sharing my home with your readers! I am honored to be here today! Life to the full! Melissa
And we’re all honored to have you here! Your home is truly beautiful. I’ve always been a huge fan of your dining room in particular!
Jennifer I’ve been a happy follower of Melissa’s blog for quite sometime…I LOVE her style and beautiful home!! It was so nice getting a peek at her pretty outdoor spaces too!
I absolutely LOVE the planter with the numbers on it. What a great idea for our own porch!
Melissa has a beautiful home ~ it is elegant yet family friendly. I think her dining room is my favorite! I do love her craft space. It must be wonderful to have a whole place like that to create in. Also, a wonderful way to reuse a playhouse that the kids have outgrown!
You have a beautifully decorate home. Luv it.

So pretty
Wow, I need to get busy and make my studio/craft space look as organized and tidy as hers. It is so much easier to be productive if you can walk in without having to dodge stuff. She has inspired me once again, thank you for sharing her lovely home and outdoor spaces as well.
Thank you, thank you, thank. You Pat
