Wrapping Up the Summer Showcase of Homes
After all the primping and cleaning for the Summer Showcase of Homes tour a couple weeks ago, I think I’ve finally recovered enough to share a few highlights from the tour. Sometimes when I’m cleaning my house I’ll hear my mother’s voice in my head, “Don’t forget to move the furniture and vacuum underneath it!” Does that ever happen to you? After visiting all the homes on the tour it was obvious to me that each one was lovingly and painstakingly decorated and cared for. I loved that a variety of decorating styles were shown and hope you enjoyed the Summer Showcase of Homes. Following are a few highlights from the tour and at the end you’ll find links to all the home tours.
I’ve admired Anita’s bedroom at Cedar Hill Ranch since the first time I saw it.
Jamie at Better with Age has done a lot of work on her home and the beauty of her hard work has paid off!
This beautifully painted buffet by Atta Girl has my name all over it, but unfortunately it sits in her entry way, not mine.
Speaking of entry ways, this one belongs to me. I love the sunshine in this room and shared it on my summer home tour.
Delores’ amazing kitchen at Vignette Designs is a cook’s dream! Her home has a lot of architectural detail that I think you’ll love.
When I saw this feminine settee at Sophia’s Decor I instantly fell in love!
Barb at The Everyday Home shows a great sense of color in her home.
And finally, the soft hues in Kelly’s bedroom at The Lilypad Cottage creates a serene place for dreaming and sleeping.
These are just some of the homes that were featured at the Summer Showcase of Homes. You can see them all by clicking the links to each home tour below. Enjoy!
They are all very pretty. So nice to see a clickable link all in one post.
So many great rooms and ideas Jennifer! I fell hard for that striped settee. I love the inspiration from your images!
