Charming Home Tour ~ Fox Hollow Cottage

Another beautiful home awaits your eager eyes today! Fox Hollow Cottage is another of the first home decor blogs I started reading. I have always loved Shannon’s easy breezy style with her light-filled spaces and fabulous DIY projects. Her charming home is filled with her personality and great style.

Cheery flower pots and a pretty wreath hint at the beauty that awaits inside.

 

Inside, Shannon’s light and airy living room greets you. Shannon used just the right touch of blue, pulling color from the carpet onto the seating areas with the use of pillows.

 

The nearby dining room changes looks throughout the seasons.

Here, Shannon dressed the room for Fall, with black and white as the mainstays.

 

I love Shannon’s cottage style kitchen that she made over on a budget.

One of my favorite things in this room is her plate rack on the wall at left.

 

The eating area in the kitchen continues the light and bright feel of Shannon’s charming home.

Omigoodness, I want Shannon’s apothecary cabinet that resides in her sun room.

Every girl loves a little femininity in the bedroom and Shannon’s shabby chic bedroom pulls it off with a bit of French influence. From the soft quilt on the bed to the mannequin atop the stripped dresser, Shannon created a bedroom that’s a respite from the world.

 

Shannon’s nautical laundry room/bathroom is such a pretty place to wash clothes.

A round rug imitates the circular mirror above. A planked wall adds additional interest.

 

Besides Shannon’s pretty home, another thing I love about her blog is all the great DIY projects, like this deck cooler. How clever to create a chalkboard inside the lid!
