Yesterday Old Man Winter decided to dump his frosty self all over our neck of the woods to the tune of about 5 inches of snow. I’m not quite ready for it, but rather than wallow in my sorrow, how about a charming home tour instead? I think you’ll love Deb’s home. She blogs over at Seeking Lavender Lane.
Pretty neutral tones set the stage for Deb’s living room. A textured rug pulls the furniture together and details like the Blueberry sign above the window keeps things interesting.
In the center of the room is this gorgeous clock coffee table that Deb crafted from a regular kitchen table. She shares lots of DIY projects on her blog.
Deb’s kitchen got a makeover complete with unique feather finish counter tops. I’m showing you just a peek here. Head over to her blog to see the full before and after.
Just off the kitchen is a charming breakfast nook with a chalkboard wall.
Deb’s dining room is decorated in industrial chic style. A rustic table is flanked with upholstered end chairs. I love the combination of rustic with a little bit of elegance. Pairing opposites always makes a room more interesting.
A gorgeous sideboard provides storage for dishes and cups. I love the earthy feel in this room.
Deb’s family room has a pretty fireplace as the focal point. A rustic coffee table serves as a conversation piece, but what really catches my eye is that gorgeous wreath on the wall! Deb’s home has a warm and welcoming ambiance throughout.
In her daughter’s bedroom, feminine touches create a cute retreat worthy of any little princess!
And the boy’s bedroom has comfortable appeal for a young man.
Today’s home is truly a breath of fresh air – salty sea air, that is! A modern shingle style exterior makes way to expansive waterfront views from almost every room. Rhode Island designer, Kate Jackson, worked her magic throughout the living spaces to create a stunning yet comfortable contemporary coastal home. This house had me…
