Christmas Inspiration You Don’t Want to Miss
We’re officially in “one more week to Christmas” mode. I still need to wrap presents and finalize the holiday menu. During the last week of preparation, I enjoy visiting Christmas inspiration from fellow bloggers. I thought you might too so I’m featuring a roundup of decor, crafts, and treats for you to enjoy!
CHRISTMAS TREES
Let’s start with beautiful Christmas trees! You’ve probably noticed a recent trend of using more than one tree in the same room. Shirley at Housepitality Designs display a pair of exquisite Christmas trees in her home.
Nancy at Artsy Chicks Rule created a whimsical red and aqua Christmas tree that tugs at my vintage heart strings.
I love white at Christmas and this snowy glam tree from The Chelsea Project is a Christmas inspiration winner!
Janet at Shabbyfufu decorated a stunning French country Christmas tree in her pretty living room.
Angie from Postcards on the Ridge always has a beautiful tree and decorations in her Christmas home tour.
CHRISTMAS DECOR
Is it possible to get tired of seeing Christmas decor? Maybe I’m just a bit of a Christmas nut but I could look at inspirational holiday decor for hours on end.
Maria at Simple Nature Decor shows how simple holiday decorating creates a festive coastal Christmas living room.
One of my favorite Christmas decorations is poinsettias. They come in a variety of styles and Thistlekey Lane shows how beautifully she displays poinsettias.
Nancy at Artsy Chicks Rule shares her stunning dining room with a fully decorated Christmas tree. What a beautiful place to enjoy a holiday meal with loved ones.
Even a holiday kitchen breakfast nook like mine can be festive with just a touch of red and white.
For inspirational holiday porch decor, visit Pam at House of Hawthornes. I love her passion for all things vintage!
Rhoda at Southern Hospitality also decorates a beautiful Christmas porch in traditional style.
My Christmas porch is always simple with just a few bits of greenery and colorful throws and a pillow.
Christmas Table Settings
If you’re a regular reader of Town and Country Living, you know how much I love a pretty table setting. Loving the Home Life creates a fun holiday tablescape in red and white.
Home with Holliday features a stunning winter white table setting complete with the cutest snowflake plates I ever did see!
And I pulled my deer plates back out for this year’s Christmas table setting. They’re my favorite holiday plates.
Tomorrow I’ll feature some Christmas inspiration in the form of crafts and recipes from fellow bloggers. You might be inspired for some last minute holiday baking and decorating!
MERRY CHRISTMAS FROM THE POLAND ..I LOVE AMERICAN STYLE, NOT ONLY ON HOLY BUT EVERYDAY AND SEASONAL DECORATIONS ,MERRY CHRISTMAS AND ALL GOOD NEW YEAR’S EVE
Wow!…..the tree inspiration here today is amazing!…I have taken “notes” for next years Christmas decor from trees to porches…I love your beautiful Holiday/Christmas tablescape…the deer plates are the greatest!…loved following you for Christmas inspiration this year and in the past….thank you for featuring my duo of trees…it has been a challenge this year in our rental home, but hopefully will be decorating in our newly built “right sized” home next year….Merry Christmas Jennifer to you and your family and may the New Year bring you much joy and happiness!
Thanks for the inspiration pics. Of course, I’m a big fan of your decor since it so mimics the casualness and coziness that I truly love. The deer plates are a favorite of mine – in fact Pier 1 had more woodland critters this year and as their Christmas gifts, I purchased sets for of each of my adult grandchildren/spouses/significant others. Each household gets a set of 4: one deer, one bunny, one fox and one horse. I hope they like them. I would love to have a set myself, but really do not need any more plates. Maybe next year after I can part with an old set in order to add a new one.
Wishing your family a very Merry Christmas, Happy Holidays and all the best. I’m looking forward to following you in 2019.
Thanks so much for featuring my home tour. There were so many beautiful homes. Its such a great time of year to see everyone’s lovely home all decked out.
