Create a Cozy Master Bedroom Office Suite
Most of today’s newer homes feature large master bedrooms and it can often be confusing what to do with that extra space. I came across a beautiful master bedroom office suite by The Good Home Interiors that combines both functionality and beauty to the large room.

For starters, the master bed is adorned with comfy bedding and decorative pillows. The appearance makes you want to fall into all that softness and slumber off peacefully. I think it’s always important to create a restful area for sleeping. Bedside sconces are useful for nighttime reading before falling asleep.

And that is why I’ve never been a fan of exercise equipment in the bedroom. The treadmill belongs in a separate zone of the house altogether where it can be used for working out and not as a clothes hanger. When you think about it, who wants to go to bed and feel guilty because they haven’t used that treadmill in a while? It’s better to create a peaceful area to induce sleep and not guilty feelings. But that’s just me.

Pretty baskets at the foot of the bed hold extra pillows and blankets. It’s nice to be able to reach nearby if added warmth is needed – as opposed to getting out of bed to tiptoe across a cold floor to find a blanket.

The home office is located on the opposite side of the master bedroom. A small rustic table serves as a small desk, with a wall unit for plenty of storage. A corner mirror can be used to check your outfit before heading out for the day.

An expansive window between the bed and desk provides space to create a cozy reading bench. Bench drawers provide additional storage for linens.

The master bedroom office suite has a lot of great details, like painted mason jars to hold pens and pencils.

The coral and navy color scheme is light and refreshing. I used coral and navy in one of my bedrooms a couple years ago and enjoyed it.

It is a pretty room but, i truly don’t have a bedroom that big . I have thought of putting my desk in there but couldn’t see me going in there to take care of business, my desk right now is in my tv area.
I would love to have a big bedroom like that to furnish as I wish. I think though I would prefer just to put a reading nook in with maybe a loveseat or two comfy chairs and a small table. Behind have a library of all sorts of books. This sounds to me a lot more restful.
As pretty as this room is Kim II completely agree with you. I feel a bedroom should be restful. I personally would hate to wake up to a mountain of bills on a desk…lol…I’d much rather grab a coffee and sit in your little reading nook! LOL
Lovely room, but I agree with the other ladies…no desks in the bedroom LOL…..a reading nook sounds much lovelier.
I absolutely LOVE the headboard they made! Inspiration for my spare room! Great post as usual.
Love the room? Do you happen to know the color paint on the walls? Thanks!
I really like the idea of using, large baskets at the end of the bed. I don’t have room for bench but I think a basket would fit just perfectly to hold a quilt or extr blanket.
Mixing up the blue and white norm with coral is a bright change. I do think if I had this bedroom I’d have a comfy seating area with books and floor lamp with lots of cozy blankets for reading. I do think that desk is awesome though. If I had a wood worker around I’d have him make me one with an old piece of barn wood. Baskets at the end of the bed would help with all the extra pillows too. I agree that exercise equipment should be out of the bedroom.
