Favorite Flower Arrangements from the Past

Normally I don’t put together a post for a specific linking party (mainly because I don’t have time to customize posts and I’m simply too forgetful), but today I found out Donna at Funky Junk Interiors has a giveaway for Folk Magazine and one of the ways to win is to submit a post about flowers. I happen to have several flower photos from previous posts so figured, why not pull my favorites together into a new post? So here are some of my favorite flower photos, in no particular order …

This is my favorite flower photo, simple and soft.

Welcoming spring with baby’s breath in blue Atlas jars.
Who doesn’t love a rose?
Yellow tulipa sylvestris (or “wild tulip”) from the garden,
tucked inside an old bottle from a nearby dump.
Tissue paper flowers in glass bottles nestled in a wire carrier and tied with a twine bow.
Celebrating Valentine’s Day with carnations and twigs from the dogwood bush.
Fragrant lilacs and Baby Kitty
My fave vase – a glass jar in a wire container.
Pink tulips on a yellow bench.
A daisy floating in a crystal goblet from my daughter’s bridal luncheon.
She weds her beau on June 9th!

  3. My fav is the glass vase in the wire holder too. On my list today is clip some wild roses in our yard. But that was on my list last weekend too and I never got around to it.

  4. Oh I simply adore the rough wood with the mason jars. So simple but elegant at the same time–I think I will borrow this idea for my dining room table. Your country home looks out of this world!!!!My kinda of living.
