Lemon wallpaper is a fun look and you’ll see it a few times in this post. Whether you paper a whole room or paper behind a set of shelves, the look is playful and cheery. I was a bit intrigued by the book on the shelf, Dinner with Jackson Pollack. I’ve only known him as an artist but apparently he loved to cook. The book is filled with both his artwork and his favorite recipes.

The color blue pairs so well with lemon yellow. The inspiration for this kitchen is the lemon-patterned window valance with blue accents. Herbs are planted in bright yellow pots while a trio of lemons sit on the marble counter top.

Consider a large botanical print if you want to decorate with lemons. A vintage style print is pretty in an elegant dining room with a settee and bamboo style side chairs. The French chandelier is beautiful but doesn’t distract from the wall art.

Here’s a contemporary lemon art print that makes a statement in the corner of a kitchen. Artwork is easy to swap out, so if you want to decorate with lemons for just the summer months, a print or painting is a great way to do it.

Lemon pillows are another easy way to add a bit of citrus to your home for summer. Use them on a bed, tucked in a chair, or on a couch.

I’m completely smitten with this young girl’s bedroom with its lattice ceiling, lemon wallpaper, and lemon curtains. The way the paper is positioned makes it looks like the lemons are growing off the curtains onto the walls. And then there’s that adorable giraffe and sheep. Lovely!

A fun citrusy wallpaper can be used in a more grown-up bedroom, too. You’ll also find lemons on the comforter and in wall art above the bed. A few pops of orange break up the blue, green, and yellow of the room.

  1. The wallpaper in the laundry room really pops with the blue background. The little girl’s room makes me smile. The giraffe is a must have and the wallpaper with the curtains makes you feel like you are in a small garden in Europe. Love..

  2. I LOVE the idea of having a lemon tree in the house. I have the PERFECT spot for one in our breakfast area! I always have a large snake plant there, but I think a small lemon tree will work better. Thanks!
