A charming bench is always a good choice for an entryway. It provides a place to sit and put your shoes on before going out the door. And for someone visiting your home, it creates visual appeal. The over-sized alarm clock is a fun touch, too.
This entryway reminds me of my daughter’s new house with its arched doorways. A trio of prints inside the door reflect the owner’s love of artwork. And a handy umbrella stand is both pretty and functional.

A beautiful front door always creates an inviting entryway and so does a pretty rug on the floor just inside. Note how the homeowner opted for a simple basket to hang on the wall.

Do you have a statement piece of furniture that will fit in your entry? Consider moving it so it’s the first thing you see when you walk in the door. It’s sure to put a smile on your face when you get home. A cheery paint color on the door is another great option for perking up your entry.
Plants are an inexpensive way to spruce up any room in your home. A topiary stands guard at the door while a matching set of baskets with hydrangeas flank a pretty console table. The mirror reflects light to keep the entry light and bright.

Show off an art collection by creating a gallery wall in the foyer. Showcase a favorite painting by placing a light above it.

A farmhouse style foyer sets the tone for the rest of this gorgeous house. A large window in the front door lets in plenty of natural light and a storage bench creates a place to store shoe or boots so there’s less clutter.

Hopefully you gained some fresh ideas to create an inviting entryway. Even a simple plant or flower arrangement is a great start.
Great ideas! Each one prettier than the next. Thanks for sharing.
Ilove these foyers!I thankful I have a really nice foyer, with hard wood floors ,original to the house but I had them sanded and re stained years ago ,they are still beautiful. It’s a 1930ish style bungalow home.
All are amazing. I’ve always wanted a foyer to decorate, but it’s not meant to be. My entryway is only large enough for artwork on the walls and a rug on the floor, so I do that. Thanks for sharing these beautiful ideas.
Now i am wondering what i can do to have one as pretty as one of these, lol! Thanks Jennifer.
Yes, great ideas. My foyer is tiny, but I am able to get a umbrella stand, and a thin foyer table with vibrant prints over it from our honeymoon n St. Croix in it, so I think it makes a pretty good first impression. Have a great week, Jennifer.
