A Beautiful Light and Bright Bathroom for Rest and Relaxation

One room in my house that I’m not entirely happy with is my upstairs bathroom. It needs some refinishing and polishing, but since most of my effort has been going into landscaping, I’ll have to live vicariously through other people’s homes. A cute little stool keeps supplies nearby when soaking and relaxing in the free standing bath tub. It adds function without taking up a lot of space, not to mention the character it brings.

Even the shower has a unique wooden bench. I love the dark gray octagonal tile on the shower floor, and the shower inset has a beautiful tile design too. It’s the little things that create a beautiful space and this light and bright bathroom features many pleasing details.

  1. This is a gorgeous space but neither of my bathrooms are this size not do any of my friends and family have anything close! But taking ideas from the photos might be useful in the future.

  6. Are these pictures all of the same bathroom? If so I’m curious about the use of different cabinetry for the vanities. It would be nice to see an overall picture of the bathroom as they are quite different–and so wonder how they tie together??
