Today’s house located in Silicon Valley is a fresh take on modern farmhouse style. It embraces minimalist style but there are enough elements to ensure the home feels warm and inviting.
The kitchen features today’s farmhouse style with bead board style cabinet doors and honey-toned wood floors. Round pendant lights add a contemporary vibe.
The kitchen island is painted a dark blue and is complemented by gold fixtures such as the goose neck faucet and cabinet knobs.
A pretty stone fireplace takes center stage in the living room with burnt orange pendant lights. The walls and trim are the same color combo as my daughter Bridget’s living room. I need to get some pictures to show you how she’s changed her first home.
Modern artwork is seen throughout the home along with more classical pieces. The dining room has a bit of a Scandinavian vibe to it.
Landscape paintings create a gallery art wall going up the contemporary style staircase. I love the unadorned wooden steps.
And I absolutely adore this shade of green tile in one of the bathrooms. It feels so earthy and organic!
I’ll leave you with this pretty floral arrangement as seen in the home.
