Random Touches of Spring Decor
Don’t you just love all the spring decor blog posts? You can tell people are just itchin’ to get outside and dirty their fingernail in the rich, warm soil. I started blogging just before Christmas and I remember thinking, “When Christmas is over, what will everyone blog about?” Well, now I’m finding out. Lots of whites and pastels to soothe the soul until summer arrives.
My little yellow bench in the kitchen lends a spring feel to the room.
Pretty pink tulips I received for my birthday.
I love the graceful beauty that tulips add to the spring decor in my home.
A birthday chalkboard sign that adds a festive touch.
We have about 7 adult family birthdays in February and March so each year we celebrate them all at once with a big party.
This dainty pitcher and bowl was a Kane County Flea Market spring decor find for just $8 last year.
A little blue clock breaks up all the pink and white.
Did you notice anything funny in these photos? The clock shows the same time. When these photos were taken, I still hadn’t put a battery in it even though I’d had it for 2 weeks.
More flowers and Miss Trixie posing for a photo op. My kitties love the barn board on the table … even though they’re not supposed to be up there. Naughty kitties!
And here’s Baby Kitty under a Duck Egg Blue chair.
Speaking of chairs, here’s a chippy white one with a gardening hat just waiting to be used.
Back to the tulips which remind me why I love the colors of pink and yellow together.
Today our northern temps hit 60-degrees and spring fever settled in and grabbed hold. Sunshine, warm breezes, delicate flowers, and the smell of fresh earth. What’s not to love?
Beautiful photos of the tulips. They are my favorite flower.
Hope you had a great birthday! Love your bench, those old phone benchs are cute and yours look great painted yellow. Your kittys are adorable.

That yellow bench is the bomb diggity:-0
Tulips just do it up grand, don’t they? Next year I’m buying cut tulips at the florist, cheaper than the hoops through which I jump to try to have tulips in the Deep South.
A belated Happy Birthday.
